Let me once again share a part of an article I published on GhanaWeb.com recently.
The number of companies and organizations who claim and declare in public that their core values or culture remain to be " Employees Fiirst" is significantly high. Unfortunately, there are only few who translate this into action. Their leaders truly do care, people matter to them and you see them making extra effort to help their people grow and to also make them feel good about themselves.
"people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will not forget how you made them feel" Maya Angelou
Such enviorment promotes trust, team work, committment, innovation, high productivity and no doubt this leads to customer's satisfaction. With such a trend, the chances for these companies or organizations to flourish to their highest potential evidently remians high and irreversable.
This is the resutl of good leadership and highly motivated and most reliable work force. There is a saying that makes good sense in this respect " If you take good care of your people, they will take care of your customers and your business will take care of itself".
Build people by encouragement, give people credit by acknowledgment, give people recognition by gratitude.

Attentive listening is the best remedy to control and manage emotions. LISTENING stands tall when it comes to the best charactheristics of an effective leader.
