Actor Will Smith has attracted several reactions after he landed a slap on the face of American comedian Chris Rock.

This comes after the latter made a joke about Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair loss whiles presenting an award.

The joke apparently did not sit well with the King Richard star who walked up the stage and slapped him causing a lot of reactions from the audience at the auditorium and those who watched from home.

“Jada, I love GI Jane 2, can’t wait to see you,” Chris had joked about Jada’s shaved head.

In a viral video, Will Smith is seen warning Chris to stop mocking his wife but he will have none of that, eventually leading to the unfortunate incident.

15 minutes later, Will Smith, was announced the Best Actor for his role in the movie, ‘King Richard’.

Whiles extending his gratitude, the father of two shared a piece of advice he received from ace actor Denzel Washington on the blind side of the media.

“Denzel said to me a few minutes ago that in your moments, be careful because that’s when the devil comes for you. I know that to do what we do, you have to be able to take abuse.

“In this business, you have to be able to have people disrespecting you and all of it, you’d just have to smile and pretend that is okay,” he stated amidst tears.

Prior to Chris’ joke, Regina Hall, who was a co-host of the Oscars, also poked fun at Will Smith and Pinkett’s marriage.
