After the announcement of fixtures for the 2019/2020 Ghana Premiere League season, GNA Sports has compiled all fixtures of the two glamour clubs Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.
Both teams have won the title 41 times between them with Asante Kotoko having the most 23 whilst Hearts of Oak holds 19.
The Porcupine Warriors have gone five years without winning the trophy whiles the Phobians have endured 10 years without league title with both teams hoping to break the drought this year.
The two teams will start this year’s campaign at home respectively on match-day one where the Phobians would host Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium with Kotoko welcoming Tachiman Eleven Wonders , all on Sunday, December 30, 2019.
The two biggest fixture in Ghana Premiere League “Super Clash” between the two arch rivals would be played on match-day six and match-day 23 respectively.
The Phobians would host the Porcupine Warriors in the first round of the league at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, January 27, with the return fixture happening on Sunday, May 11, 2020 at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Asante Kotoko would climax their season with Kumasi Derby against King Fasal at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports whilst Hearts of Oak would also finish the league season with Was All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium, all on Sunday, July 19, 2020.
