The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) is set to adopt the La Nkwatanang M/A Basic School, located in Madina, Accra.
The decision is part of the University’s 55th-anniversary celebrations and will be officially announced on Monday, February 10 when it launches the “UPSA Community Academic Project.”
t the launch, Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Okoe Amartey, will outline other plans aimed at improving academic performance of students of La Nkwatanang Basic School.
The ceremony forms part of the Vice-Chancellor’s “Investing in our Community” initiative which saw the University organize free vacation classes in 2019 for senior high school students within the community in order to improve upon their academic performance.
